As part of our media studies we looked at a Nike commercial. One of the things we talked about was how products try to associate themselves with an idea, or an emotion (for this commercial they were associating the product with “play”). We also talked about how many times camera shots change without us noticing (the 90 second commercial had over 70 different shots). We storyboarded it out and then decided to create our own commercial (looking at the importance and association between learning and play). It was a really fun exercise. Here is the final product:
